I know everyone is going to the dragstrip the 10th for the next meet, but I wanted to know who is "running" their cougars that day. I'm debating whether or not to go, I have a bunch of "non cougar" friends that are going and "running", but I wanted to do some Cougar vs. Cougar runs myself and see some also.

good question. I'm going, and I wouldnt mind doing a few runs (even though I'll get pounded by anyone elses coug).

Well, I assume if you're going, you're gonna be running.. Most of the time will be spent in the staging lanes waiting to get up to the line.. You'll definately have a chance to race against another cougar.. Last year at the drag strip, we tried to set it up so we'd all race each other, instead of the other cars

I'm going... but not running.

why? Because I'm a party-pooper. And I just spent $1,800 to rebuild a transmission I haven't put 500 miles on yet. :(

What's worse is I may not even be able to bring my cougar.

The city is starting construction on my cul-de-sac and I just got a letter in my door yesterday that said that Tuesday or Wednesday they are Ripping up the curb of my driveway and that it may take 7-8 days before I can drive in my own driveway again. That any cars I need out I should get out now and park on a side street.

Edit: Well, I just got home from work... and this is now my drive way... and the picture doesn't show it well, but that's a deep trench.

How did I know that was coming up. I already told Jen she might have to help me line up some boards to bridge my way out.

We'll see how it looks come Friday night... who knows... maybe they'll have wet concrete down.
