Mondeo Stereo size?

Strange question, but is the Stereo in the Mondeo, the same size as the cougar stock radio?

Hi Eric,

Not 100% sure but the stock sound system is (was) the Ford Standard one (5000 6000 or 7000), so should be the same on the Mondeo :)

4600 is the model in my 99...
I'm fairly confident they are the same size... i'm researching a head unit that fits, the mondeo...

The radio is the same.
It's for all Ford's models. There is a european connection .
