Sorry bud... Vortech discontinued their line of Superchargers for cougars a few months back.. Andy's auto is probably just too slow to pick up on that fact..
Also, people were having trouble with the jackshafts failing, causing a whole bunch of mess you'd hafta buy and upgrade to make it more reliable

You think your funny, I just don't want to pay 5 grand for forced induction and $3,500 for a supercharger just sounded a little nicer

Well for $5 grand for a High HP, Awsome quality kit Turbo kit, which has been proven many many times to seriously Perform......compared a $3500 eventual paperweight? HMMMM

Well on streetflight.com they compare the 2 on a dyno and the supercharger wasn't that much off the turbo, But eneryone knows turbosmake more power b/c they run off the exhaust and not a belt so its free hp. but god i wouldn't mind ether of the 2 and no one here can't say they wouldn't mind having a supercharger or a turbo. But 3,500 is easer to come up with than 5 grand. ohh also that happened to ITS turbos they use to have a web site but no more????

Excuse me...
Are you sure you are looking at the right dyno comparisons.
The turbo kills the S/C for power under the curve. The only time the S/C matches the turbo is around 7000rpm and that's because the turbo does not need to spin over 6500rpm.
The turbo averages about 100 lb/ft of torque more through the power band and 40 HP more. That is at the wheels even!
There is no comparison of the two.
Heck for that matter my 3L project was done as a bane to spite the POS S/C kit. Funny how I am quicker and trap higher though I don't make the peak numbers a S/C does.
That's called power under the curve. It is the important part of the dyno graph.
Bench racing peak numbers is 100% pointless and always has been.
Take into account that most driving or road racing requires the use of "power under the curve" and you can imagine the results verses a system that only makes peak power.

Email NayNay and ask him about ITS turbos. I'm sure he will give them a great review! They took his money and ran with it! I don't know if I would trust them.

I've had my Vortech supercharger for almost 8,000 miles and no problems yet. I also went Vortech for the $2,000 savings, part of which I plan to pump into my transmission and upgraded clutch. However all of this is pointless since the kit is no longer available anywhere.

Also, I have an aftercooler that will fit the coug with the vortech, It comes with a factory lightning heat exchanger, water pump and resevoir tank. It makes the install look stock with a ford tank that says "Intercooler Fluid" on the cap. I'll try to post a picture within the next week or so. I'll be headed to Atlanta to the FunFordWeekend race to tune some cars and crew for my dads car.
