Not sure how worried I should be if at all..I got in my car this morning and started as normal, when the airbag light came on and was flashing in sets of 7. After shutting my car off and restarting it the flashing stopped. Should I be worried that if I hit a big pothole in the road(there are a lot where I work) that it will go off pre-maturely? Or maybe in an accident it won't go off at all?
Thanks

Ive had that happen to me a couple times.. Turn the car off then start it again.. it goes away.. I havent had any problems....
77 is the code for no communication from monitor. It seems like moisture gets in the electrical connector and weakens the connection from time to time, which is why a lot of us get that code every once and a while, and usually on cold mornings. As long as the code goes away you are fine, and don't worry about the airbag going off for no reason. When you get a flashing light, the airbag will not deploy.

Yeah it happened to me a few times, dealer said it was nothing major, and most times it happened on cold days, but very rare:)

happens to me days after it has either snowed or rained a lot. Usually goes off after I drive a few minutes and restart the car.

Does anyone know what the sensors look like or where they are located? I did take a look and there are two black sensors that look to be something to do with airbags located on the front bumper, I want to keep the condensation out so I will be spraying them down. And please no comments like Im going to hurt myself or kill myself or have the airbags go off or not go off. I just want to know if these are the sensors or not before I work on them with electrical cleaner and sealer.
Thanks
