When I sit at a light, or still anywhere for that matter, once I go and get on it full throttle and back of short of the trans shifting into second there are two LOUD bangs. Not all the time maybe half the time. They sound like they come from the passenger side front. I don't know if anyone is familiar with a camaro, but I used to have a '91 z-28 and I busted the transmount and that is what this sound like, but two bangs instead of one. I checked all the mounts and none are cracked. I also had an alignment recently and they said that I might need new outer tie rods, both sides, but that shouldn't have anything to do with this. I am going to take the car to ford to see what they say 'cause I think that it is an internal trans problem but I would like to have some idea of what the problem is so I don't get yanked around.

sounds like it could be the famouse 1st to 2nd shift bang. its like a $20 part "turbine speed sensor" part# 1s7z-7m101-ka. there was a how to around here somewhere and im kinda in a hurry or ide find it for ya. its a very easy thing to do. i know that it is on the driver side and u have to take the wheel off and the splash guard to and its right there. but if u want the dealer u go to will be able to tell ya...

if i get a min later ill find it for ya if i can
