Hey guys. I want to paint my dash. I was wondering how you remove it. I was also wondering how you remove the vents and the peices by the radio. I was thinking of painting it metalic blue because of my blue neons, but I was wondering if any color for the mirage paint would work on the interior or any part in there for a smoke grey cougar. Thanks guys. any help appreciated.

I was looking at those today. I don't know how good they would work, but they looked cool. They should spray just like any other color, just don't know how good the effect would turn out. You could try it and if it didn't look good, just sand it down and start over!!! Taking apart the dash is easy, just start with the part under the steering wheel and just remove all the screws and go from there. I am in the process of painting mine right now. Make sure you have the 6 star bits because most of the screws are one size or the other of those!

Hey before you paint your dash I'll trade you my 99-00 hvac and headlight switch covers for yours. The paint will come out the same and the dash pieces are the same except yours are black and mine are grey. I would like the black ones.
If you're interested I'll pay for the shipping of both sets of dash pieces. PM me if you're willing to do it.
