hello buddy . although you are in the next room over, i still figured i'd give ya a greeting on the boards. thanks for joining them as i'm sure there is plenty of information here to help you out on your new car . oh, and i figured i'd also tell you that its a "dpfe" sensor ;).

oh, and so everyone else knows, this dude is my lil sisters boyfriend, and he's the one that bought my cougar so i made him join the boards, lol. nobody give him to much crap okay :cover:

no what's funny is that rista sold it to ford groves who sold it to hucks finance. rista originally wanted sixty seven hundred for it, but hucks wanted five thousand, which was more in my price range. the car ain't much for performance, but it is definately something i can work with. i have alot ideas for the interior as well; i'm thinkin bout racing seats and and a new chrome dash, i think that will give the interior a more sleek look. well its somewere to start n e way.

and "dpfe" sensor huh, that explains alot.........time to call auto zone back

no, he got a pretty good deal. 5000 for the car with body kit, wheels, intake, exhaust, gutted precats, and a few other misc things. that's why i say these people wanting to spend 8000 on a 99 atx v6 is rediculous. if you look hard enough you can find them really cheap. like i've said before, on a 99 i would spend somewhere between 4000 and 5000. maybe more depending if there is anything done to it or how well it's been maintained. but just so some of you know, i am gonna be keeping my eye out in the junkyards for one that is wrecked in the front. pretty much all i'm gonna need is the rear end of the car (everything from the firewall back), engine is no use for what i'm gonna do. it may take a bit of work to get it to all come together, but i'm gonna be in no hurry. i'll reveal more if i can actually find a wrecked one.

oh, and buddy, be sure to check out the gateway neco section towards the bottom of the main page. those are the people i meet with at st louis sometimes.

I feel like [censored] sometimes dude. All of you who are getting good deals should feel mother[censored]in lucky. I have a little over $9,000 left on my loan and i have 57 thousand miles. That did include an extra 3 yrs warranty, but the car was a bone stock 4 banger. I love my car though...soo.... :) :(

budman - i've never seen a chrome dash. that'd look hott. i actually have an unopened can of chrome spray paint right now to paint my g/f's sunfire grills. definitely post some pics of that if you decide to go through with it.

well people should not take 4 bangers for granted, although small they still can be turned into something huge. and u also have more money goin for perfomance instead of gas. im gettin round 15 miles to the gallon it should jump up once i get the dpfe fixed but even then it might jump to 20 maybe
