Hey guys, I looked up injector colors and all I can find out for sure is that the 19# are green for the returnless. Anybody know what color the 24# injectors are for returnless or a way to tell for sure what pph (#) they are for sure?

24#'s are grey, they came out of a taurus/sable 2002

19#'s are green returnless, orange for return

I have:

BLUE #24 from a 99 Taurus (Return Style)
ORANGE #19 from a 98 SVT Contour (Return Style)

Color alone is not a very good way to tell what size the injectors are.

If you know what they came out of and what color then you can normally figure out what size they are.

So grey injectors from a 2000 taurus would be 24lbs

As I posted in your other post I had the cream and gray injectors from the 2001+ sables/Taurus flow tested.

Flow Test Results:
Cream:19lb (the ones you have in the picture above)
Gray:22lb
SVT Contour Orange:19lb

I was expecting the cream injectors to be 21 and the gray injectors to be 24 so it was a bit confusing. After running the orange injectors which we know are 19's it verified the tester was working correctly. Also the tester flow tested 6 injectors at once so we could verify it wasn't just a bad injector . All the injectors in each group were very close to the same flow rate.

those are probably 19#'s. I have never seen a 3L with 17#'s, but they do look like them.

Send them out and have them flow tested.

whewwwwwwwww.......
alright,.. thanks for the info and clarity...
why would a 3L come with 17#s... as long as they were 19#ers that was my concern all along.... so we are good to go...
