Fo' sale - stock 16's with tires

Anybody, or anyone you know, need some stock sport-package 16's? I'm about to not need mine anymore, and I'd love to have that space in my garage to put more trash :disgust:

But really, I'd love to get rid of these. They are the satin aluminum finish, not chrome. Six-spoke, with the Cougar-head emblem on the center cap. No logos on the spokes, like some types had. Clean, with a minor amount of road wear - nothing serious.

The tires are included as well. These tires have about 5000 miles on them. I bought them from BAT last fall. They are the OEM-style Firestone Firehawk VR4, 215-50-R16. They have plenty of tread on them, but one of them has a bubble in the sidewall.

I'm asking $250 plus shipping on the classifieds board, but for you guys - $200 for the set. Shipping extra unless you want to arrange for pick-up, or a meet-you-halfway deal.

That's what my stock 16s are now used for.

Shibby Aftermarket 17s-Summer

Plus as winter rims you don't have to worry anymore about all season tires and thus have a much larger selection for winter treads.

Yep, friday about 6ish I ll be dropping off my 17s to Bennett outside of Cbus. That was the first mod I ever did to my cougar, bought rims. I still remember that day, the place I bought them from sent me 3 of those rims with tires and 1 Valkyre style rim with a tire. I opened up the rims and about crapped myself. Okay I mightve I forget. But I called Steve at WhalenTire.com whom had made the sale to me, and within 3 working days I had my rim and tire at my door. That was the best service Ive ever had, but also one of the scariest moments ever! I couldnt believe it when I opened the box to see a different style rim sitting in it.

They are really great rims and look great on Cougars IMHO. The only reason I sold them was to get 18s cuz I wanted this style rim ever since I saw them come out for the Cougar and got a good deal on some. After I get back from Spring Break I ll be ordering some tires and getting them mounted and ready for summer.

Hopefully getting the Cougar out sometime next weekend and getting the front bumper back on, but its gonna be tuff.
