Im talkign the thing that seperates the cabin from the trunk(interior)

i know i have no interest for it cuz then it would cover all my work i am putting in on my fiberglass enclousure, and personally i took that thing out within the first few hrs of owning my ride but im sure there are a few people who would want it but i doubt its worth the cost of it in Carbon fiber

I am very interested if the price is right. Craig, would you be able to *estimate* as to what something like that might cost? Not saying I would only buy it if it was cheap, but I wouldn't see it logical for myself to spend $400 on a piece like that.

Just an idea, but what about, if that would be expensive, just a CF cover for it, fits over top or something? I would also be interested in that the same. Might also make interest go up if it was cheaper that way.

i think what craig is saying is now what he has access to is companies (first guess wayson) that could make molds and product, but would have to have them made in bulk, and then determines what would be cost/time effective for his company. that being the case, i'd really like to see some threads in group buy, determining some cf parts cougar owners want. we have such unique parts on our cars, anything that makes them more unique is all the better. if done in a group buy fashion, then you have commitment. not to say group buy = discount. except for in the case of preorders, which probably wouldnt be a problem on items 250 and under, as we all trust your work and wayson's or whatever company you chose. cf decklid is propbably one most of us would like (oh look, back on topic!) and if you've seen my hood its obvious i want cf headlight covers or bezels. dash shroud fo sho. given you've ball parked 199 for cf fenders if they were made (another suggestion) i dont see any of these parts costing that much. its a helluva lot easier to slap headlight covers on, than to make a fender with precut bolt holes. sorry for the slight thread jack.

i dont see why we cant use the same company that made the carbon fiber engine covers.....i think there was only like 20 poepl or less on that group buy or why james and craig cant order 50 together because im sure there would be a market especially if there less or around 150ish(anymore i dont hink many people would go for it.


So craig i guess it would be a great idea to get a price.......

I am sorry Steve, I thought you were talking about the Trunk Pillars when you e-mailed me. At this time I have not worked on having this item produced... As craig mentioned, you'd need atleast 50 sales for CF stuff from Wayson.

Actually I have approached my c/f shop previously about this product and it is actually going to be made for my car. I do not have a price on the final production pieces but they could be easily made from the mold I have to have made for mine. If there is enough interest I could get ahold of him and try to get a final production price.
