Well, we're a little less than 5 months from CougarFest 2004, so now is as good a time as any to recruit a caravan leader from the Mass/Conn chapter.
Probably the best way would be to nominate a few people and have a vote. Once a leader is determined/chosen, shoot an email to caravans@cougarfest.com. My nomination? DNNYBOY33 - based on his organization skills.:)
Since you'll be going through the backyard of Long Island, Keystone, and Ohio maybe you can hook up with those chapters for one huge caravan. :)

yeah, we're not even sure there is a caravan yet.
There was a thread about it, and I'm not sure if any two or more people agreed to go the same route.
Lots of people have different ideas about which times/days they are going to leave, which routes they will use, etc.
I know I'll most likely be trailering and I'm in no way up for a caravan if that's the case.

I appreciate the kind suggestion for leader. Unfortunatly I'm leaving July 21st and making a stop over in Cleveland to party it up. If anyone else is interested in meeting up with me let me know though. The more the merrier!
I think Sassy should be the leader anyways. I would love to hear her on the radio when we hit traffic! I think she would make the trip entertaining!

Well, even if you don't have an actual caravan from New England i'm sure you could hook up with L.I., Empire, NJ, or Keystone. i know those states will caravan. :)

I had at first anticipated leaving on wednesday night with dannyboy. But I think I am moving my vacation to the week after and just taking thurs and fri off. This would have me leaving on thursday morning. I have an incredible sense of direction and have done the trip as far as Cleveland a half dozen times.
So I would be more than willing to do the thursday departure trip for those needing a leader. And bright red is pretty easy to follow.

Yeah, i'd suggest getting there Thursday, since Friday will be the track day and i doubt anybody would want to get to Indy and go straight to the track... well, at least i wouldn't. ;)
