lol! I've actually seen a Geo Metro run 11.80s at the track once. Not exactly sure what type of engine and other goodies he had but was a pretty cool sleeper nevertheless.

Geo Metro with a Chevy Sprint or Suzuki Swift Turbo engine swap. I've seen those do some pretty crazy stuff, once you get them tuned.

Where have you seen these? I've about gone nuts everytime a rental company has put me in a Geo/Escort/or Neon car. Not saying there aren't any out there that are fast, just not my luck to get one.

I dominated him. It was rusted to crap and stuff. He pulled up at a stop light and he looked at me and reved. It sounded like it was powered by a wound rubberband! When it turned green i pulled ahead of him right away. I have never seen a fast geo storm either!

I saw a website or magazine article where a guy did that. He swapped engines and then drove to florida for some build a car for $2000 race or something. He did pretty good. Problem is he took out the heater to save weight and ended up driving through a snow storm to get back to Minnesota. So let that be a lesson for you. Don't take out your heater if you live in Minnesota.

im my hometown some people get ford escort hatchbacks and geo metro hactchbacks and throw a honda b18 motor in it and runs 12-13's

people around here that have geos.......get mad gas mileage on those 3-cylinder engines. But I did see one dude in a geo storm with miscolored body panels and Nos stickers everywhere. also had chrome plastic hubbys. Do these people think they are cool or something? :wang;

LOL i have an 87 chevy sprint turbo =D its not running right now.. but when it was i was able to beat a couple of integras.. stock ofcourse

ha, nothing beats the sexiness of the geo storm hatchback! haha, and I thought I knew what sleak was before that. Boy was I put in my place. I want to be the guy who does it to a geo metro. If I had a pimping metro, I would leave the stock tailpipe attached to the back making it look like I still had it. Imagine an 11 second metro with a tailpipe you could stuff if your thumb? Now that would be a "wow" factor car.
