I was just looking at the posts by all these new members, and then I looked at one of my own posts, and I've been a NECOer since december 2000, thats more than 4 years now!! And technically even longer than that since I was a member on the original newcougar.org site before fastcougar.com was born. My question is, did you guys think you would be on NECO this long? Did you think it would grow to be what it is today? And how many of you think you will be on NECO till they pull the plug on it

I've only been here for about a year and a half, read the boards for about two years... I'll be here until the day it dies

I've been here since Fastcougar.com started, just never knew about the chat. I remember when there were only like 20 members lol, and yeah, I'll probably be here for a while.

I've been on these FastCougar boards since Oct. 2000. I was a member on the old boards as well. I can't believe its been so long. :)

Did I think i'd be here this long? I'd have to say yes. I never really thought hard about selling my car. Its nice to see how much its changed in the 4 years though.

Did I think NECO would be this big? I don't know. Its hard to say. When i first joined all we talked about was who got a KKM intake. Look at the aftermarket now! As long as people keep modifying Cougars, this forum isn't going anywhere and it'll just keep getting bigger.

Will I keep visiting NECO? Of course. Plain and simple.

heh yeah, actually, i searched and found Craig Flango's cougar-site first... and i actually talked to him for a month before i found the link to fastcougar.org, then eventually found this forum.
I read the board for a while... learned all i could BEFORE signing up and posting  and i've been here ever since. :)

but yeah... crazy how it came from the days of Chromacougar being the king of the cougars to what it is now.

I remember having my cougar and looking at Chroma and Craigs cars and thinking "man, i wish i could make my car look that good" heh, and now it looks better than what they had! infact alot of people have nicer modified cougars than them when compared.

it scares me to think where we (who are still here) will all be in another 3 years! heh.

I signed up when it was the old board and then a week or two later I got the e-mail to re-sign up on the new boards. Ajay Dec 2000 would put you at 3 years not 4

Hence why you'll be selling them.....

I can see it now....a clan of dragon Z owners that all wear clokes and drive dragon Z cougars with teeth

I'm coming up on 2 years soon myself, not as long as some of you, but I jumped in both feet first! I'll probably be one of the last ones here though... I'm in it for life.

While I only joined in 2001, I was reading/lurking on the boards since well before I got the Cougar. I remember looking at the old ezboard back in my dorm in late 99/early 2000. I just go with the flow, I'll probably be here for awhile.

maybe i should buy the mold from AndysAutosport when they are done with it

and yes... all i need is two other black cougars to mimic my style, and have DZ bumpers with fangs... the 3 of us will always travel together as one collective 'team' unit, going to all the shows / parking together. We'll have the black jeans, shirt, dark sunglasses. heh, that would be so badass!

Even though my registration date is Mar. 2001, I've been around since Nov. 2000. When I got my Cougar back on August 1998, I did check for Cougar web sites, but never found any dealing with the new design. It wasn't until late 2000 that I found you people. Even though I no longer have a Cougar, I made friends here, and I always come back to see how everyone is doing. I do hope that Ford will turn the Mercury Messenger concept into the new Mercury Cougar (with the new Mustang chassis and driveline). If they do, I'll definately be back visiting you guys at your meets.
