Synthetic vs. Regular Oil

Just browsing through the forums, and realized that a lot of the people are using Mobil 1 5W-30... I'm assuming it's a synthetic oil. Just wondering what your take on this is? Is it worth the extra bucks, and if so, how much would it cost for a oil change using the Mobil? If not, what regular oil do you guys recommend?

Mobil 1 is probably one of the best synthetic oils you can get.

You can find Mobil 1 at Canadian Tire, WalMart, etc. I don't remember off the top of my head what it costs though. Sorry.

I take my car to Ford for oil changes. Can't go wrong with $30 oil & filter changes. :)

i use mobil-1 because everyone else does :)
a case of it (six 1L bottles) cost me just under $50 i think...
when i bring the oil and filter to my dealership in the winter when its too cold to change myself, they charge me $12.99 to do the change...a price well worth not freezing my balls off for :)
