ive never even seen a cougar with drums in the rear, but if u wanted to the process is the same as calipers, ive seen them painted before, but go black or somethign cus bright colors on drums look dumb, its kinda dumb to show off the awsome stopping power of a drum brake eh?

one of my co-workers drives a red probe. he painted his front calipers red and his rear drums red. he used that shiny fifty dollar paint kit. it looks sooooooooo dumb. rear drums is something you find on the majority of non-sports cars, and it looks anything but sporty when you paint them.

My friend had a '72 Skylark with drums all around. He painted them, and immediatly scraped it off. Drums are not exactly something you want to show off.;)
