On the in clust lcd panel where you can get temp, avg speed and mileage i don't get mileage... it reads either 99.9 MPG or 0.00 L/100Km
so i go into diagnostics mode (hold units/reset when you start the car)...
well anyhow i get all the readings but the one that says injector pulses....
everything else works..... including estimated miles/kilometers until empty....
why?!?!
btw: i have also been able to apply much better reason to some theories. The estimated miles until empty is not based on injectors, but rather fuel level degradation over a certain # of miles or fuel level based on a hard coded avg mileage.... i have also been able to prove that the avg mileage readout is not based on fuel consumption vs distance travelled but more than likely off # of injector pulses vs. distance traveled... hency why when you put larger injectors in you all of a sudden get incredible #s on the readout but in reality you are dumping more fuel than before
