Jack up the rear of the car?

Ok I know this may sound like one of the dumbest questions ever but... I was painting my calipers and I got the fron doen no prob. Ok so I go to the rear.. hmm.. where the heck do I jack the baby up and place jac stands at? I tryed jacking it up and obvously was the wrong spot cause I bent somethin... help.. please.

you use the same frame runner that you use on the front. if you get on the ground and look up, you'll see a metal part with a little metal line sticking out, not a lip, but it sticks out of the middle. thats where you put the middle of the jack. hope i explained it well. :)
