If one were to buy a used supercharger, like the one on e-bay what kind of problems would they have using the same ECM (Electronic Control module)? Especially because that ECM is for an SVT contour. Thanks for your help.

The jack shaft would need a rebuild and upgrade no matter what...The supercharger unit can be ok, but it depends. It could've been damaged if the jackshaft ever went on the owner or if it was not lined up properly.
The Chip, you'd need a new program to match you ECU code...The fuel system upgrade parts should be fine, and the hoses should be ok too...

yup, I just called about the chip, they say that they cannot sell me a new ECM but I could just call up diablo, or another chip maker and have them custom make me a chip.....damn. Anyone wanna buy an SVT ECM for the Vortech?? :naughty:
