Raced another Modded TA today

And I lost big time hehe. Never had a chance :( Not sure what all he had, but was loud as hell, with side exhaust. Pretty sweet though.

But just from a 70 roll, the minute he touched the gas he was already at least 2 cars ahead of me. :thumbsup:


I seriously need to get my $$ back together and do some more work on my TA hehe. I'm only guesses he as a stroker with alot of other goodies :) I have basically all the bolt-ons done except for LS6 intake and Headers. . .but wow! :)


Reminds me, another buddy of mine finally has his 370ci Stroker kit done, with a Turbo as well :evil: Can't wait to see him run at the track. Man that sucker alone is going to be a beast.

When I put headers and my K&N on my 351M
it made a huge difference. But not a difference like what
you are describing.
Isn't your car an auto? maybe his was a Manual.:shrug:

Yea I have an auto. Even if he had a stick he shouldn't have blown by me like he did. I'm only guessing he has a modded stroker engine or was spraying. But I was just like. . wow. In shock hehehe.

Where I want my TA to be some day :)

My buddy has one... 01 TA LS1.. with every bolt on under the sun... 250 shot.. ill tell ya... boy has he suprised when he got walked by another TA one night... bought 70 roll and spraying and he got beat bad.... ooo yeah... the oter TA was Turboed :)
