View Full Version : Question for anyone that has me on their AIM list......

Well, we just got moved in and got the internet hooked up and I go to turn on my AIM and low and behold my list is gone except for one person who I have never heard of. Is there anybody that has me on their buddy list that would have happened to notice if it was showing me online at all within the past few weeks?
Also, is there any way for me to restore the list?

the AIM buddy list isn't stored on your computer, it is stored on the AIM servers and your list is sent to your AIM software when you log in. Is it possible that you may have logged into a different account by accident, an older one perhaps? Or it's possible that the AIM servers had a problem. You may wish to send an email to the AIM tech support.

i havent seen you on either michelle.....
and Wayne is right....something is weird about how you are signed in...the list is stored online and the move shouldnt have anything to do with it

I had the same Thing happen to me oddly enough. I have trillian, so i logged on with that and it reset my buddy list to a certain extent. Although some of the important people i talked to were blocked. Have you ever saved your buddy List to your computer? maybe you have trillian also. Other than that i can't think of anything else.
