Ok...think i figured it out. Im just going to put a tee where the oil delivery line is at......

Now....if i do this will it effect the amount of lubrication to the motor?

The car should be completely put together except the BOV and chip.......and yes there will be pics. But i wont be posting them on Neco (long story..sorry). I will send pics to individuals who are interested in purchasing the kit once the dyno #'s are in and road testing. The way it looks now the kit shouldnt be anymore than $3000.00 ( w/ out dyno cost or chip). I can have the kit installed also if needed

If interested send me a email....top_performance2@hotmail.com

so you won't post pics but you'll try to sell a 3000$ kit that now YOU are putting together... yet you don't even know where to get lubrication for the turbo from and wether or not it will affect the engine's lubrication.....

they have a word for this.... i think it's: SEED!!!

Being an ass is your highness....right? Did i ever say i was putting the kit together. You must stop putting words in my mouth. Especially someone that has NO idea whats going on. So put up or shut up. Getting feedback must not be good in your book.....thats just dumb if it is. If you have nothing good to say...then dont reply.

Besides...i've shown pics of most of the kit. Even when i/we put the kit on, people like you have something bad to say because you must feel the need to bash someone. I think it must be a childhood thingy...seen a doc lately?:cover:

instead of sending pics to ONLY people you think will be interested, post pics on NECO (or TN, i dont care) so that you might get some more interest.

and i do have to agree with Pierre on this... you are going to sell us this kit(if we are interested) and you have to come on this board to ask how to do the plumbing for your turbo?

dont get me wrong dude, im totally with you on this since i want some kind of FI for my kitty... just give us something solid (pictures) and more confidence (work the plumbing prob out)

I sounds to me like he is having the kit made, and installing it himself. Relax people!!! He just wants some help on running a line! Be more supportive!!! If it doesn't work out, then it doesn't work out... But without someone taking the initiative to try something new - we would never have any new parts for our car! Someone please give him an answer to his question! I would, but I don't know! I am interested to see the numbers after this is done, and also how the car holds up. I got bashed for saying that a turbo could be had for less than $5,000 - I want to see it happen! I would be very interested if this works out well and has a $3,000 price tag. Good job man... Let me know how it turns out!

On a side note...

FYI: There is a stock plug (supposedly used by the SVT Oil cooler on Contours) that feeds my supercharger. A possibility if you don't want to splice lines. Not sure if it's enough flow for a turbo though. It's the blue cap in this photo (http://atomicinternet.homeip.net/newmcneco/photos/SuperCharger_09-21-02/P0000025.jpg)

The oil cooler that came on my SVT engine went through the oil filter. Similar to the custom cougars oil cooler setup.

Brad:

That oil line is the main feed from the block to the rear head. It's where I have my oil pressure gauge tapped, and it's one of two that exist off the back of the head:

http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/attachments/3LProject48.jpg

See how the molding of the head shows how it feeds from the block deck? The hole for oil supply in the block is rather large (8mm or so), but that line into the head is fed by two puny, miniscule, heinously small pencil lead-sized holes in the head gasket- Here (3L gasket shown next to it- Only one hole, 'cause the rear 3L head is fed from the front and back):

http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/attachments/3LProject16.jpg

Kinda scary to think that now you have those two tiny holes supplying not only your blower, but also the entire rear head! custom_images/emoticons/shocked.gif <shiver> I drilled a second hole in my 3L head gasket to match the 2.5L gasket since I have 2.5L heads (which have no front supply line- I had to block it off at the block).
