2.0l zeltech is a engine type/ but is it diffrent from the stock one
just wondering
what else can I do to my cat to increase the horsepower. legally

zetec is just the name, kinda like vtec. for HP, u can do intake exhaust, new cams, ne cam gears, underdrive pulleys, turbo, NOS (illegal in some states), blueprint your engine

zetec is the just the name of the motor.....they can come equipped with vct (variable cam timing) which is sorta like vtec (honda's version)....the vct is exhaust only on our cars...it's for emissions
best mod....turbo!

get yourself a custom made exhaust or a Yo Dude/Tru Bendz exhaust (resonator and straight pipes, no rear muffler(s))
check out some zx2 websites for cams and cam gears

I wouldn't recommend nitrous or any turbo/supercharger if you have a high mileage car, it wont last very long.

VCT motors dont respond as well to mods and limits freedom somewhat.

anything that has to do with emissions will cut down on hp
