View Full Version : ? about swapping front bumper from 99 to 01

Hey Guys,
I'm would like to swap my 99 front for a 01 or 02 front in order to put on the WW body kit. I've found a front bumper at a local salvage yard. I'm just wondering if it will fit right over the 99 foam crash absorber and flush with the head lamp units? Has anyone tried this, and if so any suggestions? I really like the 01-02 WW kit the best. I'm also assumin that the sides and rear skirts will fit regardless of the year. Thanks for your help.

the side skirts will work, but if you wanna put on the WW 01/02 rear bumper you will need an OEM 01/02 rear bumper as well (they are different).....or, use the 99/00 WW rear (or any other rear piece designed for the 99/00) ....make sense??

Yeah that what I mean't but I'm really trying to figure out if how to make the front bumper swap. Thankk for the info though.

Yes...it fits perfectly...I just did this....but I switched headlights, grill and fogs too.(99-00 headlights fit too)
The rear 01-02 fits as well.

Hey Cattina,
That's exactly the look I'm going for. Where did you purchase your front bumper assembly from? I thought that I had loacted one at a local salvage yard but when I went to pivk it up it wasn't in as good of shape as they described over the phone. NowI still looking!
