View Full Version : Jagular, NOW is the time to finish the kits and update us

With the recent news about Street Flight on everyones minds, the obvious attention goes to the other remaining options. Currently there is only 1, Vortech. Which means we need another turbo kit and another Supercharger kit to compete with the Vortech. If you were waiting for the most opertune time to release a kit, it's now man. So any updates, #'s, prices, I'd suggest rolling them out soon.
Plus I haven't seen an update lately

SF still sells turbos to anyone who wants one, just not through customcougars anymore.

ok, not to start another flame war....but any company that takes money, and seven months later still hasn't produced the goods does not get my business. There may be a second side, but nothing can possibly explain 7 months.
BACK on topic of this post....awaiting Jagulars reply....
are you talking about ITS turbo?

no, Jagular is a fellow NECO member who's been developing kits for the cougar on his fiancees car. He builds drag cars for a living so he has extensive engine knowledge.
I know who Jagular (T.J.) is, he's doing some work for me right now. I was asking if you were confusing StreetFlight with ITS turbo, I'm asking because I don't remember reading any negative feedback about SF.... just curious

Last I heard from Jagular (PM) he was just waiting for someone to provide money and their car so he can put the kit on (supercharger kit). I don't think he has anyone yet. I assume that means he has already gone as far as he can on the kit, he's just waiting for a car to use it on.

Just to keep things in perspective, James claims it took 7 months for a delivery but there may have been other factors at play with that transaction. Remember he can no longer sell the kit now so he has no reason not to bash them.
I'd do some more research before you blindly believe whatever James says. I'm not saying go out and buy a SF Turbo (actually I recommend the Vortech Supercharger myself) but don't take one members word as the holy gospel.

I don't know what the 7 month thing was really about but, I personally think SF has excellent customer service. I drove to AZ in August so they could tune my car. I did wait a little past my scheduled time due to another car that was having some problems, but they more than made up for that by staying with my car until 1 or 2am (I don't remember exactly). I'm sure Keith didn't get much sleep that night because he had to be back there to open up his shop in 6 hours or so.

THIS (http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=53&threadid=80914) is his last post to my knowlege. I guess me calling his shenanagens was too much for him to handle. This guy was a fraud like all the others just like I suspected from day one. I suppose now everyone will complain that I scared him away right? Make sure you READ ALL of my public conversations with him before you try that.... ive been MORE then patient with this guy and in the end he finally showed his true intentions.

So I guess that's it. It's been a week since this topic was started and I haven't heard from him at all. I guess your right exigent. It would have been nice to have a roots s/c available for the cougar. At least no one got screwed out of their money. A few months ago I was considering buying an engine from him but I decided to ask some other people what they thought of him. Only one person out of everyone I asked thought I should do it, so I decided not to. Good thing I didn't.

Good thing you didn't? Screw that, you don't even know they guy, nor do I. But at least drive to his shop take a look around and ask some questions. It is the least someone would do who is seriously looking to buy a race engine or s/c

Well, I haven't posted because I haven't been on line except for last night and I didn't see this post. I have been finishing up my fathers car and going to the race track so often that I haven't had time to check anything on this board. I do good to check my mail every onece and a while. And, No, exigent you didn't scare me off. I like you too much to leave you without anyone to pick on. Like I said I have been busy with dads car and have had nooo time. If anyone wants to know the car has run a 5.20 at 137 in the 1/8th with 12lbs of boost and a 1.21 60 foot. The thing was shaking the tires bad for about a hundred feet too. I think with it all ironed out we'll be running 4.70-4.80 in the 1/8 with 27lbs of boost. The guys at AEM are awsome. They flew one of their engineers out to our house for a weekend just to get us running. He'll be back out in a fw weeks when we run it on the chassis dyno here in Noblesville. The AEM ems is awsome. When they come out with the eec V I'm putting onw on the coug with a single channel uego and their DIS ignition.
On the kits. I started on the turbo header. The intercooler is done.
I still have the S/C pulley and idlers.
I have also been working on wrens stuff. By the way wren do you mind if I put pics of your intake on here? I about have it finished up. I have to weld the back on it and finish up the egr tube. Gonna try and ship it as soon as I get it done.
Later all...
T.J.
P.S. I'll be on tomorrow to see whats up.

I like the fact that you don't get mad when people criticize you Jagular. I was expecting to hear some harsh replies.
Hey T.J., feel free to post the pics bro, I'm sure everybody would like to have a look.
