CustomCougars or SummitRacing... they don't come painted, unless you get the brushed aluminum or the carbon fiber ones.

is it something i can paint myself or should i have it professionally done?

Take it to the shop to get done. I think its close to impossible to get duplicate a factory paint job at home. Its should only cost about 100 ducks to get done. Nightshades them, they will look hotter and less cash-ola.

They aren't dot approved, because they cover up your reflectors, but I have never gotten into any trouble with them, and I haven't heard of anyone who has.

How about forest green tail light covers. I have yet to see a set of the CF/aluminum tail light covers that I liked.

Actually, i do believe they are DOT approved. Besides, the European Taillights dont have the reflector lihts on the corners anyway. So does that mean that the European Tails are illegal also?

Oh, and European taillights are obviously for use in Europe, where they have different laws. They don't need amber in the front and reflectors on the back, hence the clear reflectors in the aussie headlights.

There is a guy on here that lives in Orlando, FL that painted his own tail light covers. I seen them in person and they look like they were done professionally. He used like 3 bottles of touch up paint, paint thiner, and a air brush.
