Let me know if you guys know of anyone looking to buy a car. Regardless of what everyone else besides us Cougar owners think, my baby has been reliable as hell. Aside from the alternator recall and some bs I made up to get the tracks on the sunroof replaced w/the metal ones under warranty, have never had a problem.

I may or may not be getting a car or truck tomorrow. But if I don't, you're first on my list of cars to buy. It's just a matter of coming up with the cash for it on short notice. I'll talk with a few people and see what I can pull because honestly I'd love to have another Cougar. :) Can you hold off for a few days?

I can. I have about 3-4 weeks to play with. My wife is due in 3 weeks. I would rather have it sold and be into something new, but really don't want to trade it in. Besides dealers ripping you off, I would really like to sell it to someone that actually gave a damn about the Cougar brand. Eventually I will probably by another one but now is not the time. Actually my dream was to have my 2000 and a clean old school in my drive way at the same time but those plans are now on hold for at least 5-6 years. I'll check back in every once in a while but if you PM me I can give you other contact info.

I don't want to but my wife doesn't drive stick and she really doesn't want to deal w/a 2 door. My plan was to pay it off, save a little money and then buy the family car. But my wife got pregnant a lot sooner that we planned.

Been there too and the kids loved the back seat. There is a divider between them so you don't here "he's touching me!" the only thing is they fight over the sole cup holder back there. That problem has been solved tho. I got leather seats! Now nobody can eat or drink in the car!

I love the bucket seats in the back, though nobody bigger that an 8 yo has ever complimented me on them. The other day I carpooled w/2 guys from work. All I heard was the whole way was "Damn this is small. These seats are uncomfortable as hell....blah, blah, blah." I told him "Shut the F up! I bought this car for me and I never have to sit back there so I don't give a damn." This was from someone who owned an eclipse. Interior is the same size but I thing the Coug's is a little roomier because we've got buckets and they don't. We'll they kind of cup your ass sort of.

The chicks that have sat in my backseat never complained. But then they're all on the small side.
