Need advice on In-Dash DVD/CD with motorized screen

I'm looking to buy and in dash DVD player. I have been looking at the ALPINE IVA-C800, kenwood kvt-911 and kvt-910, and CLARION VRX935VD. Anyone put one of these ahead of the rest or have an idea for another deck to look at. I'm trying to not spend over $800, would love to do it closer to $600. I don't mind buying a used screen or one of last years models. Just throw out some ideas for me. Thanks

id love to pitch you on the alpine or kenwood, but the CLARION is awesome. we only do the eclipse, pioneer, and kenwoods, but a shop down the road sells the clarion peice, and ive been doing a lot with those lately. great peice. id go for the clarion.

I just went and looked at screens again...and right now I'm between the clarion and the kenwood. I really like the kenwood.

Josh-is there really anything wrong with the kenwood? I didn't see too much different between the 2. Except the fully motorized screen on the clarion. I'm also affraid the clarion won't clear the HVAC controls, but I'm pretty sure the kenwood will. Since you sale Kenwood can u get me a better price on the kvt-911?

I will also be getting 2 12" Type R's. But I'm not sure how big of an amp I should go with. I know I want 1 amp for each sub. I was told a 250watt amp to each would be good. But I'm not sure if I should go bigger.

IIRC the kenwood won't clear the HVAC controls either. :shrug:

really...from the looks of it, it looks like it will. Since the guy at the shop said the screen will come out like an extra inch more from the deck. Maybe I can get them to install the deck in teh car real quick to see if it will clear or not. He also seems to think it will.

I hope he's right..Because thats what an installer told me as well. And decided on something else afterwards..
