Pin 48 on the ECU is the wire to tap for an aftermarket tach/shift light. the wire is white with a black stripe.

Are you able to adjust at what RPM the light comes on at or is it preset?

pop the hood and pull up hard on the power steering fluid tank. Underneath is the harness to the ECU.
i counted to pin 48 and matched it on the harness. > white wire with black stripe on the harness. i recommend you solder and seal it with silcone or something.

do you start in the top right and count over?

Look on either side of the PCM plug - you'll see small numbers next to pins. Find the one labelled '1' and you'll know where to start
