 Went away to a CPU (civilised piss up) with old university friends this weekend; drove into the hotel car park and there was a identical silver Cat - does one (a) park beside it or (b) as far away as possible. I chose (b) working on the princible that this would maximise our exposure. This was at the Chesford Grange hotel near Leamington Spa - didn't have my Cougar Club flyer with me - pete

I spotted an identical (well, it was until I stuck my 18" OZ's on mine) Blue Cougar that parks on the same multi story level in our works car park as me. Quite often I park cloe to it. Makes for great comparisons as I set about modding mine.

I put a flyer on it ages ago but no-one has signed up and said Hi! .... Mind you I did sign it SHAGMONKEY.......

if your cats modded park next to it it shows them
a=what they could make theres look like
or
b= how i have "ruined" it:biggrin:

Just to go off on a tangent as I am sure you all know I like to do.........I was sitting at a leval crossing on Friday, and once the barrier went up, a Silver Cougar with all sorts or writing all over it came flying past me. I only saw it at the last minute so I have no idea what the writing said or what the number plate was, but does anyone know of a NECO member that lives in West Sussex and uses his Cat as a mobile bilboard??

No....just wondering....God isn't it time to go home yet?? :banghead:

Dont think so. All I saw was writing on the drivers side door and all over the rear boot. I assumed he was advertising a business or something. ho hummm

If I see a Cougar in a car park, i'll have a look and then carry on driving around the car park until I can find an end-space or a wide bay so that no idiots can open their doors onto my car!!

Took a tour round Somerset on Saturday and saw no other Cougar's but four Porsche Boxter's. Are they common or what?

I saw 2 silver Cougars in Warrington today - both driven by women. Different number plates and mods - the first one was tramping around a roundabout at lightspeed. Had twin exhaust spouts, so it could either have been modded, or one of those Halfords screw-on one-pipe-into-two jobbies.
I park where it a) wont get hit by other car doors (got a couple of trolley dinks already) and b) where I can look at it as I walk up to it - sad, sick little bloke, me!

Hi, i,m new to the club and this is my first posting, I followed a blue Cougar same as mine up the A46 near Lincoln. I followed him for three miles before I turned off, but I could have turned off 2 miles earlier. but it was good just to watch it. I always park well away from anyone else in carparks and if I'm with the other half shopping I stay in the car in case anyone gets to close dam trollies!!! and it's got to be better than walking round supermarkets.

What I can't understand is when I park in the empty section of a car park, furthest away from the supermarket, stairs, lift or whatever.... when I come back somebody else has parked next to me!

I wouldn't mind if it was another Cougar but it's usually some old banger. :stupid:

I always park as close to other cougars as possible and ensure that misses gives it a quick buffing before we leave it ( my cat that is ). That way we can ensure we get their attention and so they are more likely to take the club flyer I left for them with them.
Never go to multi stores now though as none are designed for the cougar's long doors. Nearly the whole edge of both doors are now paint free.

From the past postings it looks as if there are alot of silver cats about. Anyone know what the ratio of silver to other colours is?

Don't try the catermeran service to Cherbourg! The ferry is like a car park from hell. I know our turning circle is not good, but going on I took 2 attempts at some of the bends
