You heard it right. Magoo and Project Cougar take best team award at Battle of the Imports today with 2 cougars from NECO. Trophie goes up to my waste just about and James and I are splitting a cash prize of 100$. The long drive was worth the waite. James takes best of show at the days event and takes best paint finish and top domestic at hot import nights.

WHOO HOOO!!!! way to go guys! Damn that is a sweet win for you both, way to represent! Maybe we can talk James into comming up for our meet next week to show it off for the oldies! Hint Hint!!!!

mr. frank.. at HIN, matt (magoo) had the plaque he made in honor of frank displayed right in front of his car. i'm sure he did the same at MIR. :)

sweet deal!!!! I wish i woulda went. You asked on saturday and i turned u down. Damn, I didn't win anything on sunday :( :( But oh well there are more mods on the way and i will be there some day. Magoo.....Next one (after october 10th) let me know

Thanks everyone. Magoo and I had a great time rushing to ge there from B-more and fixing a hood pin on the way there. Once there it was like taking candy from a baby. There was only 30 cars or so entered. I walked away with Best of Show and a $300 check. Magoo and I then won Best Team and got the $100 Check.
Overall I must say I am very happy after this weekend. Me and my friend TJ Topper are proud of being from MD and we try to represent the state to the fullest when shows come to our area. This weekend was more than I expected. First I was in the biggest booth at the show then I walked away with 5 trophies, $350 in cash, tons of Meguiars Products and 3 title sponsors for 2004. I could not have asked for a better weekend.
I would also like to thank Nicky, Sherrie, Henry, David, Magoo and Jess for stopping by the booth and showing your support. Even though I did not get to spend much time with all of you, I wanted to let you know it really did mean alot to me and it was great to see you all again and to know everyone is doing well. I have to finish this season off very hard since I was locked down most the year with out a car, this was simply a big boost to keep it all up. Thank You.

it was great to be there at HIN and show support for you and matt. that's what friends are for .... NECO is more than just a car club! all of us understand that being at the show takes all your attention and we didn't expect you to stop everything you were doing to hang with us. we came, we walked around, we visited you for a few minutes, and then we went home :)
all in all, i say that it was a great time for everyone!!! :biggrin:

I am still very anxious to check out the car James. I am in Fredericksburg all the time now.. so maybe we can hook up sometime.
