Ford Cougar Advert on VCD

Fellow Cougar Owners

I think I’ve cracked it, I was talking to a friend of mine who works in the ‘TV’ industry and he’s told me he knows someone who can get hold of the Ford Cougar advert. The advert is actually on a VCD CD, it contains the making of the advert with behind the scenes footage along with the advert itself.

The VCD also contains other adverts too, about 20 in total with other features.

Here’s the sell, he told me he can get some sent over for me but it’s going to cost £4.50 per CD which also includes postage.

If anyone is interested please let me know, £4.50 is a group buy total, it was a little dearer but I’ve managed to get him to reduce it for us.

If I receive anymore information off him I shall post it on here.

That’s a good point but don’t blank DVD’s cost a lot of money, about £3 each and also doesn’t the DVD copying process take a lot longer than the MP3 process?

It works out the same, except this way someone else goes through the trouble…….

DVD copying can be fraught with difficulties, for instance, a copy which plays perfectly on one machine may be virtually unwatchable on another....some players will only work on certain brands of blank media...and so on :rolleyes:
In general though, a DVD copy will usually be fine in the drive fitted to a PC.

By the way - as it is a VCD it can be copied onto a normal CD-R and does not need a DVD writer. VCD is poorer quality than DVD and is roughly comparible to a VHS video so is perfectly watchable. Have a selection of 'art' films in this format and they can be easily copied.

Nice cd works fine on pc and dvd player.
For those that dont have the cd or cant view it i ripped the cougar advert from the cd to my website.
Its 10 mb just right click the link and save target as and it will d/load.
