Hello people, being back on the case I thought Id see if anybody going to Trax from a south eastern, easternish point of view would like to meet up for Convoy down there on Sunday morning? Obviously its quite short notice but it doesnt hurt to ask does it? Ok well I like in Peterborough so let me know... If one has already been arranged.. where is it?

So GCatz.......what's your honest opinion of your YoDude exhaust system? How much did it cost to purchase AND ship over here? i.e. What was the grand total for getting you hands on it? I am after a new twin exit system for my cat and was going to go down the custom built route as the price seems to be under £500

As for the NOS.....VERY tasty....trouble is, I'm not sure my ATX gearbox could take it !

I tell you what appart from the NOS the exhaust is the best tthing I've purchased for that cat, I've been told by many its the best sounding system they've heard... bearing in mind the sorts of people who have told me that are petrol heads but you know I think its amazing and would never consider changing it.. Im not gonna lie its a loud system but a good loud if you know what I mean.. 3000rpm provides an interesting sound as this is where its loudest ... I think the best way to describe it is that its true to the engine as its not being muffled anywhere along the line, it sounds the way it does because the engine makes it sound that way and not those custom back box's so many custom systems have to key the perfect note..

Its sweet.. and definatly makes for easier breathing!

Oh and it cost I think about $350 in the end and it was shipped to my dads APO address so thats part of the price... thats if my memory serves me well... which it probably doesnt.. Ford installed it and they loved it!

OK...perhaps this is where I am getting confused....but according to their website, for the Aluminized system it is $310 and for the full stainless sytem it is $460....so.....assuming you wnet for the $310 version, surely P&P plus import tax etc would have brought the price up to lot more than $350.......or have I just lost the plot completley??
Also, if it makes the loudest sound at 3,000rpm....doesn't that give you a headache on long journeys? I mean 3,000rpm is my motorway cruising speed?

sigh...all these questions......anyone would think it was the Spanish Inquesition !

Ahh this is a case of me getting confused with currency, I got the full stainless with flowmaster, twin slash cut. It must have come to around £350... that would make more sense, having it shipped APO meant I didnt pay import tax which was nice... althought cant do it any more :(

And yeah 3000 is sort of motorway speed and it can get quite noticable.. I usually sit just under or just over like 3500 its gone by then... these things are worth working around... I do some serious miles as well!
