I know that some people have replaced the gas cap cover with an aluminum one, but i would like to know where i can find it, and about how much does it cost.

The aluminum gas cap is from the Eclipse. I havent seen them for sale lately, but you may want to go try a Mitsubishi Dealership in the parts section.

I seen the plastic type for $25 and the aluminum billet series for $85 on ebay about a week ago.

I saw 3 plastic versions and 2 aluminum ones on Ebay....the actual aluminum ones were 50 and 99 dollars.
