Large London G2G?

Hey ya'll, I've posted this on TeamZX2Ontario.com, Contour.org, FocusCanada.net, ONPOC.ca, and now I'm posting here.

I'm looking for some help in planning a major G2G here in London consisting of Mustangs, Foci, Contour/Mystiques, Probes, ZX2's, Cougars and all other Ford/Merc performance vehicles.

Any help and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So far I've got a few votes for a St.Thomas Dragway (Sparta) meeting. This would mean it would be on a Sat. evening. A date is not know at this time but one will be hammered out soon. We're looking at mid to late Sept.

Come on guys and gals a huge collaborative London meet would be awesome.

Ok, the tentative date is Sept 27th.

I chose this date because I'm trying to work this G2G into 6 different clubs' schedules.

Yes, it's more than a month away but, I see the time between now and then to be very useful for getting the word out to ensure a huge turnout :)

Here's how it's gonna go.

Sat. Sept 27th 10am untill 4pm St.Thomas Dragway (Sparta)

T&T between 11am and 2pm

Bracket Race between 2pm and 4pm.

A bracket will be set-up just for us to run in :)

Price for racing is $15 and for spectating is $10

Come out have some fun and meet some cool people ;)

I told track organizers to expect 30-40 of us :)

I won't be racing as we found a few bugs in my car after the last sparta run....the fuel filter needs to be replaced, tranny flush, and a rad flush...I'm goin in in Oct. so I don't want to push my luck, but I'll be there as a spectator.

Sorry to hear about your ride....it's that time of season when all the summer wear and tear catches up. Don't know if you've ever noticed before, but have a boo around other message forums and you'll see that there are many people down and out with thier cars right now.

If the weather's bad there will be no rain date :( I'll try to assemble another G2G early next year.

Weather didn't look good in the morning...but at about noon the racing started...... 8 of us chanced it and had some fun :)

It was nice to meet a few of you :)

Next year I'll plan a large G2G again but earier in the season.
