yep.. I need one.. GF's jeep got hit last week, this week someone stole the coug head from my grill. time for recomendations on what to get for an alarm. i know I want one with a pager. Knibbs , i remember yours is a good one what kind was it ?

The nice thing about the Viper systems is you can add on different components down the line. I have the 550esp w/a motion sensor, remote start, remote trunk, remote windows (up) and it has the option to add a: perimeter sensor, call your cell in case of a trip, allow you to call the car & disable it (if stolen) or unlock it, voice module (play your own sounds as alarm) and some other stuff.
I paid $250 from a member. They go for about that & cheaper on Ebay. Gary (Badlarry) has a friend who installed mine at his house for $200. Some shops will charge around $350ish if you want the remote start, windows & trunk stuff too.
