Got back from the smokey mtns yesterday and I had a blast driving the coug through the freshly paved winding mtn roads with the gf yelling at me the whole time to slow down. Had a scare when the transmission warning light came on on the last day and then the CEL light came on. So after a near heart attack and coasting 95% of the way down from Clingmans Dome the trans light went off but the CEL stayed on. Figured later that the trnas light came on cause I was behind some slow minivan going up hill so it was shifting a lot and got hot. Thought the CEL had something to to with it so I got some injector cleaner and a full tank of premium and the sluggishness went away. So while at taco bell I unhooked the battery and let the comp reset, no probs. Well an 11 mi hike followed by a 6hr car drive is a prob cause Im still sore. But fun times were had and saw 3 bears, 2 from the car and one 5.5 miles up gregory bald, scary as hell!! So a 1000 mi, 2 long gravel roads and a ton of bugs later time for a car cleaning and then back off to school, work school and grad school
