Did some research. The MB speakers sound like a good deal and many recommended them. Currently I have a Pioneer 50x4 head unit. Keep on mind I am not an audio enth. but I like having some bass and would definately love to have a little surround sound working...

1) Would it be worth it to add MBs 5x7s (or 6x8s) and not add an amplifier? If not which wattage amp would be sufficient?
2) If I were to buy a couple tweeters for surround where could i mount them and got any recommendations?

I don't want to spend too much money on this and right now I am gauging how much this little project would run me. I think my stock speakers sound ok but are lacking in the surround department and bump a little but I would like to FEEL a little more bass WITHOUT adding subs...

Thanks a ton

120 x 4 should be enough ;)

but yeah, you definatly want an amp pushing your interior speakers... 50 x 4 isnt that noticeable. Find a great multichannel amp and youll be happy. Im using a Kicker Comp 600.4 pushing my components and they sound mmmmm mmmm good

If your thinking about buying seperate tweeters, why don't you just buy a component set? It will probably be cheaper in the long run and be "matched" to the midbass speaker.

so a component set would have 3 way front speakers that have embedded speakers? You may need to clarify a little because I am not that knowledgable when it comes to speakers...

Thanks

A 2-way component set will have a seperate midbass driver, tweeter, and crossover (a pair of each). This is all you really need. If you get a 3-way set it is more difficult to get good imaging. Check out Crutchfield's FAQ (http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-jUiI6KFzCFJ/learningcenter/car/speakers.html) for more detailed information. Good luck!

I have an MA Audio set for sale, see my sig. I'll tell you the truth that I have no idea what they sound like, but that they were the set they used it the MA Audio show truck at NOPI Nationals. They are brand new in the box and I'll sell them for $120 + s/h
The cheapest I've ever found them was $170 + s/h and I've never seen them on Ebay.
Here's a little thing about them: http://www.caraudiomag.com/testreports/0109cae_maaudio/

BTW, if anyone knows how these sound, please let me know.
