View Full Version : Need some help with reading the speed

I tried using the second harness from the original head unit, and it doesn't update fast enough, or at all. Can someone tell me what wire it is on the cluster that controls the speed display? I figure it has to be on the white connector, as that is what makes the needles peg in the center when plugged back in.
Any ideas?!

im assuming that youre trying to hook up an navigation? the wire you are looking for is located under the hood. if you are facing the engine, look just to the right side of the drivers side strut tower. there is a rectangular connector there that is black in color and has about 8-10 wires in it. there is a white/lt. blue wire- it should be the third pin in from the end of the connector. use that for you speed pulse.
