can anybody that has experience with air tools recommend some essential/useful tools? I went looking around at home depot last night, and saw your basic impact wrench, air ratchet...but why the big price difference between brands? Specs look almost the same (except for maybe maximum torque), is there really that big a difference in quality? or are you just paying for the name?

it's usually the name AND a biggie here......the warrenty. Always try to buy a tool with a lifetime warrenty. You'd be sursprized as to how many air tools I've seen go to an early grave from regular usage.

I've got Campbell-Hausfeld stuff... air ratchet, impact wrench, etc... never had a problem with them, and they are getting on in years now...

DOH! what did it include? is the sale over? cuz i went to home depot and i was asking someone questions about the tools, and he never said anything :banghead:

edit: as a side note, my first project with the air tools was changing the alternator on my cousins T-bird...holy cow, it would have been almost impossible without that air ratchet!! god bless air tools!
