after all the headaches of just keeping my car running, a wrecked truck, 2 girlfriends, hospital bills, lost money (stupid ford credit), and countless other bullcrap, i'm gettin my wheels. they are the dragwheel dr-3. i'm gettin them in white to go along with my car. hopefully i'll finally get the car slammed with my coilovers that have been sittin in the hatch for 3 weeks in the following weeks. it might be a lil while before i can make it to a meet to show you guys these wheels. i know you are wondering why, but i'm not gonna say why ;) . shak knows a lil bit about what's happenin, so don't ask him (don't tell anybody about it tom). i want it all to be a total surprise.

anyways, here's a pic of one of the wheels. and i'm getting them through iceotron's group buy for 520 shipped. tires will be kumho ecsta's.

Wheels look sweet, I just got my Enkie CDR 9's on with the same rubber you're getting and I love it, You will want to get those coilovers on though if you have smaller wheels on now, cause that wheel gap after your new wheels go on is gonna kill you, It forced me to order some Eibach springs :)

They look sweet, but cleaning them looks like it's going to be a pain. Congrats on the wheels!

i'm waiting to install the coilovers so that i'll now how far i can drop the car with the new wheels, that way i don't have to jack the car back up and everything to set them all over again.

what if i just said that there's gonna be LOTS of custom fiberglassing done? and a new paintjob? and custom painted graphics? that's all i'm gonna say, no details on what is actually happening. it will be prolly around 2 months before the job is complete, because with money running kinda scarce in my wallet i'm only able to do a lil at a time. so right now i'm just buying all the stuff before we actually get to work on it. lets just say i got a dream about the car and it IS gonna come true :)

yes, the wheels do look like they are gonna be hard to keep clean, but it will be worth it. there is NOBODY else who has the wheels on their cougar. me and iceotron done research and found out i'll be the only one with them out of all the cougar, focus, and contour people. so originality is well worth the pain of keeping them clean.

Sounds very  But...you're not getting the Aerogear widebody kit are you?? If you do, please please please tell me that some of the fiberglassing is going to be making that rear fender flare go all the way down instead of straight out the back...

And congrats on those wheels...no one else with a Cougar, Contour or Focus has them!? That's frickin' AWESOME :)

ummm........ widebody kit sucks... plain and simple. i like the front end and the front fender flares, that's it. no offense to anyone that may have it, it's just not me. like you told me once kyle, it takes a special kinda person to like the dragon z :wiggle: . when i was ordering the wheels i was talking to the representative and they told me they HAD sold some to the focus crowd, not many though. so hopefully since the few people that have the wheels won't venture on these boards and let me keep my originallity. should have pics of everything up whenever it arrives. however, like i said, pics of the modifications we are getting ready to tackle is gonna be awhile. got a feeling i'm gonna be driving the ole firebird for a lil while ;) oh well, i can have some fun with a 400 big block...... VROOOOOM VROOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh ya, i just realized this, i'm turning into a post *****
