Just want to tell you that. You guys and gals are AWESOME!!! Everyone is decent and sweet people, even the people I am less than fond of!! There really isn't one person that i can't handle being around!! For a club, especially a car club, this is the best experience I have ever had! I LOVE cougar fest, I LOVE COUGARS, I love NECO and of course.. I LOVE YOU GUYS and GALS (in a cougary way..however, there are a few I could see naked.. i wouldn't mind at all! ;))

However, I'm concerned (blame it on my attitude of late), where did this email come from. It isn't a goodbye note of any sort is it? You still own your Cougar right and aren't going anywhere?

And guys...calm down...I'm sure Heather isn't selling her Cougar!! I bet she'll be one of the last ones to trade it away! I'm sure the SVT Contour thing is either a mix-up or a joke...I seriously doubt Heather would ever sell her Cougar for an SVT Contour!

First of all Heather you are the reason I became a member of NECO. You were the first person from NECO that I talk to. I remember we had an AIM conversation and you came across as such a great person that I had to come out and meet YOU and others right before the trip to Cougar Fast 02. I’m sure few members remember that. Also, you have forced me to singe up for All Ford Show last year and I had a blast. So thank you with all my heart.

I don’t know the story with the SVT Contour, but if you don’t have your cougar it doesn’t mean you can’t be a NECO member. We are still going to love you jus the same. If u still have your cougar, and the Contour was just a rumor you can just look up on the post and see how paranoid people got that you might not be a member anymore. That says something.

LOL...my first NECO "experience" was quite similar...

I opened up my bill from Ford Credit in May of 2001 and there was an insert inside with the website www.cougarfest.com printed on it...Curious as to what this might be, I surfed on over and located the "caravan" section...where I found Heather's AIM name...Heather and I talked on there just about every night for a month until she convinced me I needed to take time off work in July to go to CougarFest even though I'd never met anyone there before...lol

SO, I signed up and drove through the night on Wednesday after work to Kankakee where I met up with MohawkMan5 (I think that's who it was...he's disappeared from the forums) and then we went and waited at one of those Oases...if I had to guess which one, I'd lose the $50 bet (:rofl: been there, done that)...Pretty soon, we see a line of Cougars coming up the ramp toward us...HEATHER is the first one out of her car, and of course ran over to give MohawkMan, myself, and my buddy Ian all a big hug even though she'd never met any of us before! :rofl:

I'm so glad I went!! Not only did I get to hang out with all the cool IL NECOers (Reagan, Jenny, Heather, etc...) but I also met a bunch of the other members too (BatCougar, Ponchuno, EricF, etc...) Also, Fest '01 is the reason why I'm broke...because I saw all those damn cool Cougars, and had to do something to my stock one! I didn't even have taillight covers or clear sidemarkers then I don't think!! custom_images/emoticons/shocked.gif

I don't think IL-NECO would be half of what it is right now without Heather! So, in summary...THANKS, HEATHER!!! :biggrin:

When I first met member of NECO it was at Cru's house before he left and I was so excited to see the cougars in person and Heather you were and still are a sweetheart. I do believe that cougar people are the greatest people especially IL NECO. Heather, Reagan, Kyle, Tom, Tom, Greg, Jeff, Jenny, Steve, and everyone else I have talked to. I supose thats why I couldnt leave this place.

I got an e-mail from her, it seems that she had so much fun drag racing Batcougar and winning she wanted something with even a little more power. You know Heather isn't into doing mods herself so she went for one already modded.
