Well, I got my spare stock intake manifold in the mail today from Ebay. It's the stock UIM with the Ford logo-plate. It's getting painted Ford red or Ford blue (can't do black, since it'd be a sin to mock an SVT UIM). I'm thinking about buying Ani's SVT UIM posted on CEG for $340, but not sure. I got the stock UIM for $10.02 on Ebay -- VERY CHEAP COSMETIC MOD -- versus the SVT route, which includes the SVT UIM, TB, 19#, etc, etc... SVT route is too costly and time consuming at this point. Plus, if I was to start sinking $$$ into a motor build-up project, I'd have to go 3.0L.
I'm hooked on the C2 Ford Blue interior accents. And with the Ford rebadge job, the Ford manifold will REALLY fool some people, yet look awesome (not as good as the SVT UIM would look).
My mods are minimal with the newly acquired house, but I am still modding. :)
