Go to mcmaster.com
Type in this part number:
8644k18
not 80...but 94A!!! shore urethane casting compound
NOT IN A TUBE...this comes in a can with a primer bottle
This way it is a liquid and can sneak into every motor mount (Roll restricor) nook and cranny.
Its the stiffest stuff I could find, and its crazy stiff.
I was also told to use window weld or ESSEX which is what most OEM cars use for windows.
-Either one should be stiff...but for those who want the stiffest, this should do it. Also for those who dont know, its urethane you put in your motor mounts to firm up the engine movement/shifting/ etc. Great improvement over stock!
PS: Those who have stock motor mounts ( roll restrictors) you should at least use some urethane from a glass shop and fill your mounts/es insert/etc. Its so simple and you get more power to the wheels. Vibration increase cannot even be felt with the mild urethane.

How do you even get to the motor mounts? Taking out the motor?

no, you use a board to distribute load, gently jack on the underside of the engine (oil pan), which takes the weight off the front and rear roll restrictors and they can be removed easily then.
puck and I swapped the ES insert into my front mount in under 15 minutes and we were goofing around!!!
This is definitly a mod everyone should do. I'm ordering my goop right now.

yea firmer mounts help all cars.
If you want to get rid of driveline lash, look into this stuff
Like I said before, 94 is very hard stuff
i've posted howto's on this repeatedly ;-)

ov3n, I searched all your posts in how to and I couldn't find one for the goop stuff. Can you help me find it?
The main thing I don't understand is when and how much liquid activator I need to mix with liquid urethane base.

Just take out your front and rear roll restrictors and fill with urethane
Any other questions you can pm me
arskiracer -
it comes in premeasured amounts.
so you just pour the activator into the big can and mix for a couple minutes, then its ready to pour.

Damn it. I poured the stuff together and started pouring it in my engine mount. Then as the stuff started leaking out the other side of the engine mount I realized I should probably put tape on the other side so the stuff doesn't just go through the mount. It was too late, the tape wouldn't hold. I decided to let it dry for a while and I figured I would just continue pouring after the bottom side had dried that way no more goop stuff would leak out. Without giving it a second thought I put the cap back on the can and went inside to eat. When I came back out the can was solid dry. Damn it. If anyone is going to do this mod, don't make the same stupid mistake I did.

:rofl:Sorry, that's just funny.
Here's a helpful how-to.:) (http://www.mr2sc.com/websites/tech/SolidMounts1.htm) It's for a different car, so just skip the whole removal and install stuff.
And here's a pic of mine. They're awesome.:)
