The old spring install record for Slade and Jeff was 6 hrs. Well yesterday the three of us did springs, rear sway bar, rotors, and pads in 6 hrs. Yes I know same amt of time, but a lot more was done in that 6 hrs. I made it about 3/4 of the way through the install before I was soo wore out that I was getting sick (energy level and lack of pain after surgery still isn't up to 100%). Everything went soo smoothly. One problem that was found during the test drive, the front lugs weren't tightened after we put the car down off of jack stands, but it was a quick fix and simple mistake. I know Jeff thought I did them, and I thought Jeff did them, but I take responsibility for it. Suspension felt great on the trip home, even though I was in a rain storm, and the breaks felt 10X better than they ever have. Mad props to Slade and Jeff, and even more props to Jeff's parents for allowing us to use their garage. Slade and Jeff were very understanding when I finally had to say, guys, I just can't do any more work, and I became the tool monkey. I still feel bad though that I couldn't work through the whole project, and again I apologize to both of you. I will have to go out later to empty the car and I'll take it out of the garage for a couple pictures.

Side Notes:
Jeff, I'll look for those adapters for your antenna today and I'll get the $5 change from you later (no big deal).
Gyger, I totally understand that you had to finish work on your truck, I just hope it went as well as my install went.
Slade, the new exhaust sounded nice when you drove away.
Slade and Jeff, I finally stopped feeling like I was going to throw up around 4 am and was able to go to sleep. Thanks again!

Slade and Jeff get my "Good Guy Award" this week!
Their are prizes that go along with the "Good Guy Award": food and the beverage of your choice, which all three recipients from the past couple weeks have received and seemed to enjoy.

No problem, my parents and I polished of the couple of brownies that were left, tell Lisa they were very good. This was by fare the smoothest spring install yet. We tried a new method on the fronts and it helped shave some time off the job. I feel if it was just a spring install 3-4hrs would have been the time. I went home and crashed on the couch and watched some real racers AMA motocross! (with a Great Lakes Brewing Co. ofcoarse)

Most definitely a 3/4 hr spring install time. The fronts were done at 2 hrs (before doing the rotors/pads) and the rears are always quicker so there is no doubt in my mind that it would have been close to 3 hours for just the springs. Both of you worked very hard even through the terrible hummidity (I felt like I had been swimming with my clothes on) and for that I am greatful. The break in the basement was a high point in the day (man that felt good: nice and cool with good food and conversation). I'm glad everyone enjoyed the brownies. I told Lisa that they were a hit and everyone enjoyed them. We polished off the Pizza for dinner (she decided she like Dominos Hawain pizza better) and then I took a terribly needed shower (I think I used 1/3 of a brand new bar of soap).

When I got home, Lisa and her cousin were watching American Pie and I sat down just in time to see the Hot Apple Pie get mutilated. Then I watched the race Lisa taped for me where Dale Jarrett had a hard day, oh well, that's the way his whole season has gone.

Now I just need to tint my windows and the outer cosmetics of my car will be finished (for now, hehe).

Note to all; if you can avoid removing the rear calipers please do; those star bolts were NOT designed for multiple use and do NOT come off easlily. That was about the only real issue I can think of. The sway bar is cake. I have no clue why people actually drop or lower the gas tank for this one but oh well...they suck.

Brownies were good as was the pizza and beer. Jeff's parents rock as ussual and the polka music indoors was amazing  Front suspension is now nearly as easy as rear- good call Jeff.

Bout all I can think of at the moment; very tired. TTYL
