can anyone help I have noticed pinking from the car under load from about 5000rpm up I have a bluefin chip but its the same when I have it uninstalled. I run on superplus unleaded has anyone had similar?

Also,
If the IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor is giving a false reading then the ecu will think the air is hotter or colder than it really is. The temperature of the air determines its density and thus the amount of fuel required. A false reading may cause the car to run lean and so cause pinking.
Must admit I've encountered the same problem but it happens so rarely that I've just left it.

:shrug: It could be your petrol. I find that there is a difference between various outlets - more noticeable in France where supermarket outlets sell petrol which is less clean (but cheaper) than in major outlets
