Thought I'd better pop me head round the door and announce meself!

I've been browsing on here for a while but put off joining up until I'd actually picked up my Cougar - a late 99 silver frost V6 ATX with X pack. Have found plenty of helpful info, so thanks to all who have posted it.

Having been into bikes most of my life, I can honestly say this is the first car I've actually enjoyed owning. (even better- my wife is too nervous to drive it yet, so I'm having all the fun)

Don't appear to be too many members in my neck of the woods (Newhaven, East Sussex) but I've seen a couple of other cougars in the general area, so will stick a flyer on when I next see 'em.

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

Hope to see you if I can make to any planned meets.

....hmmmm..... sun's out, so looks like an excuse for a long and totally unneccesary trip out somewhere

People in cars normally kill people on bikes.

Welcome to the Club Ian.

Welcome to the Club Ian.

Agreed - 90% of fatal accidents that I go to involving motorbikes the motorbike is the innocent victim. I just hate sweeping the bits up, and telling (normally) the wife/girlfriend. My job but I hate it.
