If you had a custom chip for SVT UIM, LIM, Return 19lbs Injectors, and a few other things nothing major. Would you cause problems if you put a 50 shot of N2O on the car and not have the N2O on the custom program?

Cause I am thinking about doing this. I found a SVT UIM and LIM for pretty cheap and I was thinking about putting a N2O kit on it. ATM I have High Flow Cat, Custom Dual exhaust, ford racing spark plug wires, SVT TB, Weapon R Intake w/S&B Filter, and Standard Diablo Chip.

I was thinking about getting the chip customed burned for 19lbs Return Style Injectors and the SVT Stuff and then adding a N2O kit(but not on the chip)

Tell me what you think-Will I run too lean when I spray or Does anyone see any possible problems with this idea

Another Idea- Instead of using the 19lbs injectors I could just swap the fuel rail and use my current 17lbs injectors and then not get the custom chip and just use my standard chip and run N2O

Would it be the same as having no chip and running N2O, considering the chip isn't customed

This is a toughie- I'm having to make a few assumptions- Since you've explicitly mentioned the SVT UIM/LIM combo, are we to infer that you're wanting a direct-port kit? Wet kit? Dry kit?

Dry kits would be cheapest, and since you have the return style fuel system, you can make it work easily. The kit will have an in-line FPR regulator- It will intercept the vacuum signal to the FPR and decrease it if you're spraying (effectively adding more fuel). I believe this has worked all the way up to a 100 shot, but consensus is that 100 shot is pushing it. FastCougar ran a 75 shot for quite a while (using frequently, but not stupidly) with no apparent adverse effects.

If you want a wet kit, you're still on a single N2O nozzle- You just have to tap the fuel line at the Schrader valve.

Direct port means you have to drill 6 holes in your UIM and put a nozzle in each. Extremely technical and complex, but the absolute best solution for N2O.

Standard program chips will advance ignition timing...which is something you probably don't want to do when spraying...but will help when running NA...
