I was a very anti social person at the past cougarfests and made it my goal to meet as many people as possible this year. On saturday night I was outside until 5:30 am with some people I never met, then when I was leaving we made our introductions.

Sorry Sunni...I met you last year for a moment the morning we all left but I must appologize. This year I saw you once or twice but was always in the middle of something. I meant to come say hi. Its cool though cuz I doubt you remember me anyway. Those headaches still bothering you?

This year I was like RiverRojo. Last year I hardly met anybody and so I was making up for it this year. If I didn't meet you this year, I'm sorry you are definitely on list for next.

I met ya Sunni

I had fun meetin everyone.....I think it was cause you went to bed so early on Thursday night....thats when I met most of the people. It was also probably cause we were busint our asses on Friday doin mods.....o well, it was all fun.

I met you too.

My suggestion though.........DON"T DO EVERYONE's MODS!!!!!!!!!

Meet people and do a few mods, I think that may have been the problem this year. Not that I can say I met a whole lot of people, but I definitly met more than I did 2 years ago.

i met a lot of people...more than i did last year i think...the biggest problem is remembering who everyone is!!

It was great to meet people and hang out. I will claim responsibility for calling Samantha "jenna" a couple times....:banghead: I know Loyalty and Sunni told me they didnt see me all day friday when i was right there by the cars all day...shows you how busy they were with painting and stripping paint and everything else...but that also means i was busy talking to people around me all day too!!

I finally got to meet ND4SPD after having tons of fun BS-ing with him in OT for months...had people who knew who i was but didnt remember meeting the previously....guess i am "unforgettable" though i am sure some of you would rather forget me!!

again...greeat seeing everyone....looking forward to next year already!

My biggest problem with 'Fest was that I got sort of intimidated early on Friday. I went to appreciate some of the different things that people have done with their cars as mine is mostly stock (except for the side markers). I sort of got dissed the minute I started admiring someone else's car and that wasn't too cool. I appreciated talking with some of the people that I did get to talk to on Friday, but, unfortunately, I stuck with my chapter most of Saturday. But I will definitely make more of an effort next year, no matter where 'Fest is!

Agreed....not nice at all!

My biggest problem was not randomly going up and meeting people....if they were in the parking lot I guess I could assume they were with Fest, but I guess I am just shy that way......but not shy after ya know me, go figure....

FL NECO..........ya'll dont count, ya goobers :poke: ;)

And for the record, I have a real name too.....suprise suprise that it isnt "Sunni" but in all honesty at Cougar related events I respond faster to "Sunni" than to Michelle....ever since I have been on NECO I think people forget I have a real name "shrug;

heeeeell ya Doug!

i had a great time meeting everyone... seemed like most of the new people i met were from Florida!
Doug, Sunni (i just can't get used to calling you Michelle  ) George, Loyalty, i know there was a ton more, but im not sure where they were from.

but yes yes, everyone knew my name -cause its in my sig.
surprisingly though, people knew ME before they knew which car was mine. heh! :)

Yeah, I'm down with that shyness thing. It's so hard to go up to random people and be like, "Hi, my name is...I don't know if you have seen me on the boards...."

The dude that dissed me dissed me because I didn't have the same year as his Coug. It's kind of silly now, but it was a bit of a shock at the time! Izall good! I would definitely do it again. Tidewater NECO roolz!

Ya know I was sitting here reading this when a great idea came to mind.....(maybe it was talked about before?)
Why don't we have name tags next year? You could put your screen name and your real name under it, that might help.

I met you Michelle! I made it a point to introduce myself to each person everytime I went in a room...I wanted to make sure I met everyone that I hadn't previously met at the past 2 fests. Come to think of it though, it wasn't exactly introducing myself...it was more like "who are you?" lol

And George...get used to being called your name on here...I have known some of these people 2 1/2 years and they still call me BleedBlue!

BTW--Don...I'm going to be about 7 hours from Pittsburgh this hockey season, and I vow to make Shanda see at least 1 Pens game...wanna join us? :)

Michele I met you. I did meet a lot of people, Don I remember you dude. I guess I don't really have the personality to just go up to someone & say "hi".

I still can't believe I was up for 3 days straight.
