Can anyone tell me if it is best to have stickers on the inside of the window or the outside. Went to a signmakers today and he said he could do both. Whats best?

Must confess this caused me something of a problem.
I had intended to have inside stickers made but they will not show up very well through tints.
Trouble is outside stickers look crap after a while.
What sort of price were you quoted?
Mike.

It all depends on the quality of the vinyl you buy, you can have vinyl that lasts for 1 year, 3 years, 7 years and 10 years plus, if you have internal stickers you would have to apply them before any window tinting and then that could cause problems later, i suggest you go for an external metalic silver with a long life span

I went for the external and have had them for two years with no problem.
silver over a dark tint look good.
There are now so many types of vinyl that you can cover what ever you require.
At a local firm, I have even seen a whole car covered in black vinyl. This option was followed instead of a full car re-spray and worked out cheaper. Looks good to as it was heat applied to the contours of the car. Could not tell it was vinyl.
Modern technology!

Thanks everyone for info, I was told the vinyl will last a good 5 years, but the guy said this was a conservative figure.
He charges a minimum charge of £7.50 + vat but for this I could have a sticker with ukcougar.com in any colour and he would make 3 or 4 so if i went wrong with sticking it i would have spare ones.
If i wanted any artwork he can do just about anything but would be subject to price per complication.
The guy was very helpfull.
