most likely scenario: the bumper is shipping from Aerogear in california, NOT from James in virginia. He prolly doesnt have control over when it ships- and there may be a slight backorder. Standard ground from Cali is 5 business days at best and since you have an oversize that may be longer. Also, the size is the reason it is so expensive, not the weight. It might have to ship freight actually. Either way it is hand- shipped the whole way; no conveyor belts and automated stuff. Someone has to physically move it individually between locations and stuff and that is why it is slow and expensive. James will take care of you. Just saw him this weekend so if you couldnt get him it was cuz he was at cougarfest with us;)

Hey bro, trust me no worries about this issue. James doesnt have the bumpers in his warehouse, they ship from aero in CA, and actually I dont believe they always tell James right when they ship. Another thing is they were on backorder for awhile, not sure if they still are but chances are high, cuz they always seem to be. But no worries James was with us all wknd, so I m guessing just now is he getting caught up on things etc. But I can promise you that you will get your product maybe a tad late but it ll be there. And like slade said, its the size of the box, they are way light, he and I carried mine, but its all about the size. Also if you didnt get it shipped to a business addy that might be why its taking longer too. Just my ideas, I might be wrong lol. Hope it all works for ya and you get a metal bracket easier then I did!

No.

Never heard of them; buy a couple if they really have them though. They are valuable.
